Ancelotti confident despite draw

Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti stated that he is not worried about the current form of the team and that he expects them to recover quickly.

Indeed Bayern Munich was held at home by Cologne and has dropped their first points in the Bundesliga this season. The draw followed the defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Ancelotti admitted that he is disappointed with the result, but he believes that there is no reason why they should be worrying. He said that the players should not forget their good start to the season where they have managed to win 5 games in a row. He believes that his team was good enough to win the game against Cologne, but unfortunately, they could not manage to do so.

Ancelotti said that his team was good in the first half and controlled the game well. But they could not score enough goals to make their possession count. He admitted that Cologne improved in the second-half and was a much better team. He believes that Bayern Munich should have won the game as they had enough opportunities to score especially in the first-half.

The manager believes that their current form is just temporary and that the team will be much better after the international break.

When asked about the injury to Arjen Robben, he said that there is nothing serious and that the player has just received a knock in the game. He stated that he could not continue on the pitch as he was in pain but he should be able to recover in 2-3 days.

Ancelotti believes that Bayern Munich will be back in form after the international break and that they will be winning games again. He has urged fans to remain behind the team as there are still more to come from their team.
