CAN UNITED DO IT?

It’s almost time for Manchester United to battle and play against what will be their biggest and toughest match of the season as they have to face off against Bayern Munich for the 2nd leg of the Champions League which will be played at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich’s sensational season has seen them already being crowned as the champions of the German league despite there still are more than 3 matches left to be played until the season concludes.

Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich are also favorites on winning the DFB Pokal trophy as they have to lock horns with FCK on April 16 but are expected to come out as the winning side.
If things continue going as planned, Bayern Munich are well on their way of securing another treble. Manchester United has to travel to the Allianz Arena to play against Bayern Munich on April 9 and Phil Jones knows just how tough it is going to be.

But Jones said: “If it means going to Munich with the same game plan as Old Trafford, then we’ll do that. It will be even harder in Germany and may take a similar kind of performance, but the important thing is that we all believe we can pull it off.”

“Once we go out on to the pitch, there is very little the manager can do. We have got to go out and execute his instructions. We haven’t done that enough in the Premier League but, in the Champions League, we have been excellent.” Jones said.

If David Moyes and Manchester United can somehow pull it off and defeat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena it will eliminate all of the critiscm and negative backlash that the Scottish coach and the club have been receiving in this season, even if they don’t manage on winning the Champions League, defeating the German titans is something that not many clubs have been able to do.
