Robben has been scoring goals for fun in the German Bundesliga. He helped the club win the league title for the third consecutive season, while also playing an important role in Netherlands finishing third in the World Cup 2014. Due to the fitness issues surrounding Robin van Persie, Robben was the key player for the Dutch team.

Kompany THinks It's Time For City To Perform In the Champions League

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says that it is time the Premier League club closed the gap on big clubs like Bayern Munich by doing well in the Champions League. City will once again face the Bavarians in the group stages of the Champions League. City manager Manuel Pellegrini has criticised the UEFA’s seeding system ahead of the match, as it will be the third time in the last three seasons that are familiar round of opposition will be meeting each other in the group stages. For this season, though, City have been handed a very tough draw with Roma and CSKA Moscow being the other group opponents.

Guardiola Turns Down Rumors Of Boateng Move

The Bayern Munich boss, Pep Guardiola, has turned down the rumours of Jerome Boateng going to Barcelona this summer.

There have been talks in the Spanish media that La Blaugrana are interested in buying Boateng in their bid to bolster their defence after the exit of one of their seasoned campaigners Carles Puyol.

Puyol decided to hang his boots in May this year after playing for Barcelona for as many as 15 seasons.
Barcelona has already secured the services of a defender recently in the name of Jeremy Mathieu who was a Valencia player until the last season.

Kroos Denies Involvement With Munich

The German playmaker, Toni Kroos, has denied to have reached any agreement with the La Liga club Real Madrid.

A few days ago, there were talks in the Spanish media that the 24-year Old player would be making his way to Santiago Bernabeu pretty soon as his services had almost been secured by the Los Blancos.

But, Kroos cleared the air in his most recent interview.
When asked about the Real Madrid links, Kroos said, “Look, I have said a couple of times before as well that while being in Brazil, I am not thinking about transfer issues at all.
