INJURY WORRY FOR BAYERN AS DEFENDER SUFFERS ANKLE PROBLEM

It's not the sort of news any club would be hoping for, especially given that the new season is only a month away, but German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will have to worry about the fitness of their defender Alphonso Davies after reports emerged that the Canada international left-back has differed an ankle ligament injury while away on international duty with his country. Davies is one of Bayern Munich's most important players and getting injured is not something his club would find interesting, especially as they have to start their pre-season games in preparation for the upcoming 2021-22 Bundesliga season.

Davies hopeful of a longer stay at Bayern

Alphonso Davies is hoping to stay for longer at Bayern Munich. He used to play as a winger but soon was directed to play as a left-back defender. His position was changed due to the injuries suffered by the defenders of Munich. The young Canadian player has given a good performance in the league this season. He has gained another two years at Munich with his stellar performance. He will be continuing in the German club till 2025 with the extended contract.
